Delivery Service
We offer a local delivery – to trade and public
With an extensive fleet of different sized vehicles, including 2 crane wagons, we can deliver to anywhere locally to the trade and public.
Next Day Delivery Available
We offer next day deliveries for orders placed before 3pm in the HU postal area,
**Restrictions apply.
**Some machining orders may require additional time due to the specialist nature of the items, these include Hardwood, Cutting & Treating orders.
We pride ourselves with a flexible approach to our customers delivery needs and have a wealth of experienced drivers.
We are currently charging £10+Vat for local deliveries under £100 (HU Postcode)

We also offer out of town deliveries to Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lancashire, parts of Chester and Manchester and can deliver nationwide by arrangement (extra costs may apply).
Bespoke Machining
In recent years N.R. Burnett Ltd has invested heavily in machinery and continues to invest in tooling. Our template maker allows us to take detailed drawings from our customers and turn them in to a bespoke end product, all done in house.
We can take your drawing or sample and reproduce the same profile accurately with our state of the art tool making equipment comprising of Weinig template maker, profile grinder all backed up by Powercom software.
We currently have 2 state of the art Weinig Powermat moulders which give us quicker dimension and profile changes, higher run speeds and still giving a high quality surface finish both on hardwood and softwood.
We keep a large selection of cutting profiles for machining timber, we will always try and use our existing cutters to match your own profile or pattern without having to make new cutters.
If we do not have the profile you require then an exact match can be obtained by having cutters made especially for you at an extra cost.
All machining will be completed to a top quality finish. We always aim for a quick turnaround.
Cutting Service
At N R Burnetts we can also re-saw, multi-rip and cross-cut timber accurately to suit your requirements. Using our wide range of machinery, N R Burnett Ltd are able to provide an “In House” cutting service for all timber and panels. We are able to cross-cut & re-saw small or large quantities.
Treatments
Most treated products which we keep on stock are treated to UC3 standard suitable for above ground applications, with the exception of a few which are clear treated. We can also send untreated products for a range of treatments, staining or priming to suit customers’ requirements.
Our staining can be done in a vast array of colours, come speak to one of our sales staff who will be happy to help.
We can also send untreated products for Fire Retardant Treatment, Typical examples of uses include external cladding, decking, boundary timbers and shingles.

BS 8417 groups the applications for treated wood into ‘Use Classes’, the main three being:
Class 2 - Above ground, covered, occasional risk of wetting
Class 3 - Above ground, exterior uncoated exposed to frequent wetting
Class 4 - In ground contact or fresh water permanently exposed to wetting and/or providing exterior structural support

Cut & Edging Service
We are able to offer a cutting service for all of the sheet material products we offer and a cutting & edging service for the melamine sheets.
All we need is your list of panel sizes and the edges that require edging and we can get a price for the most efficient way to cut the sheets for maximum gain and minimal wastage. This saves you time having to work it out yourself.
This service is now outsourced to an external company and requires some time to complete jobs, although most jobs are turned around in good time.
We can offer some of the decors in a 0.4mm pre-glued 'Iron On' option, should you decide to edge the boards yourself.
Trade Counter & Showroom
Come and visit our showroom in Hull where we can offer a large selection of fixings, sealants and consumables to service the trade and public for any timber & joinery project.
We are currently in the process of having one of the areas largest displays of LPD internal doors and hardware. We stock cladding, skirting, architrave, mouldings and much more at our showroom in Hull.
